Author John Green was very vocal to say that the soundtrack of the movie adaptation of his book "The Fault in Our Stars" has added something different to it. In a recent interview with MTV, John Green said the soundtrack makes the movie more beautiful.

“I love the soundtrack; I’m so thrilled with it. Music changes a story,” Green told MTV News earlier this week at the “Fault in Our Stars” Livestream Concert at Los Angeles’ YouTube Space. “I saw the movie before the soundtrack was final… and it’s a very different movie now. It’s a lot better. It was already a beautiful story, but with the music, it just makes it that much more powerful.”
“It’s just this moment where you realize they’re going to do something together that she never thought she’d be able to do,” Ryan Rabin said, while bandmate Hannah Hooper added, “there’s definitely an emotional element we wanted to create while still keeping it uplifting.”
TFIOS soundtrack includes songs from Birdy, Ed Sheeran, Grouplove, and among others. For the full soundtrack list, check this page.
